One student uses art to bring positive change to her life, but she isn’t stopping there. Junior Kendall Carter hopes her art will also influence change to Texas state law – in regards to sexual assault and rape.

Good Neighbors Animal Rescue helps hundreds of feral cats and dogs

​Last year, the Fort Worth Animal Shelter stopped accepting feral cats or routinely providing them with spay and neuter services. Instead, the staff encouraged residents to work with nonprofit organizations like the Good Neighbors Animal Rescue (GNAR).

11-year-old boy raises over $67,000 to give the ‘gift of hearing’ in Guatemala

After his dog ate his hearing aids, twice, Braden Baker made it his mission to raise awareness and give back to the hearing loss community.

Tanglewood families face FWISD bond proposal and changing traditions

​The 2017 Fort Worth ISD bond proposal includes big changes for Tanglewood families. 

Fort Worth City Council will paint new paths for TCU/Westcliff cyclists

​The city’s 2014 bond program included a $200,000 bond dedicated to improving the bicycle infrastructure in the TCU/Westcliff area.
